Motorrad Zürich AG at the Moto Festival 2024
For four days, the motorcycle spectacle attracted more than 40,000 paying visitors from all over Switzerland. From Thursday to Sunday, Bernexpo was filled with the excitement and enthusiasm of motorcycle fans.
Visitors were treated to a wide range of attractions: from brand-new motorcycles and unique custom builds to accessory and clothing stands, racing teams, culinary delights and an extensive supporting programme with concerts, indoor enduro races, FMX shows and panel discussions. The Moto Festival offered something for every taste.
One highlight was certainly the presentation of the new Honda models in Hall 3. Particular attention goes to the new CB1000 Hornet, the comeback of the CBR600RR and the innovative Honda E-Clutch system, which put Honda's 2024 line-up in the spotlight of the Moto Festival.

Comeback of the CBR600RR
After a seven-year absence, the Honda CBR600RR is now back on stage in Honda dealers' showrooms. Although a new generation was already presented for the Asian and American markets in 2021, it had so far stayed away from Europe. But that is now changing with the 2024 model year. The return of the CBR600RR promises an exciting revival in the European motorcycle scene and will undoubtedly make the hearts of many motorcycle enthusiasts beat faster.

In addition to the obvious changes in design and equipment, Honda's CBR650R brings a groundbreaking innovation for 2024. Together with its naked bike counterpart, the CB650R, it will be the first Honda model to introduce the state-of-the-art Honda E-Clutch technology. The Honda CBR650R 2024 thus promises not only an exciting riding experience, but also a foretaste of the future of motorcycle technology.
CBR1000RR-R Fireblade 2024
With the new CBR1000RR-R and SP Fireblades, Honda has responded specifically to one of the most common criticisms highlighted by many, though not all, riders. No more weak pick-up in the lower rev range – instead, more pulling power is now generated from the bottom end and the mid-range. This targeted improvement promises an even more exciting and dynamic riding experience for everyone looking forward to Honda's latest models.

Revised styling and aerodynamic improvements. The 471cc engine has been optimised to 48 hp and 43 Nm of torque. In addition, an ECU update has been implemented to improve the acceleration experience, while Honda Selectable Torque Control is now fitted as standard. The CB500 can also easily be restricted to 35 kW for a novice rider and, thanks to its characteristics, is ideal for getting started in the world of motorcycling.
Honda Africa Twin 2024
Honda's legendary Africa Twin receives a performance upgrade for 2024 that will make the hearts of touring motorcycle fans beat faster. With additional torque at low and medium revs, accelerating and overtaking become easier and safer, especially when riding fully loaded. Despite these improvements, peak power remains unchanged at 101 hp (75 kW). The Africa Twin is known for its off-road capabilities, and with updated suspension and generous ground clearance it is ready for any terrain. The base model is available from CHF 16,590 (2024 price, non-binding, prices may change at any time).
Now also available with 19 inches
In 2024, Honda's Africa Twin and Africa Twin Adventure Sports receive not only more power, but also a revised look and higher-quality equipment. But while these improvements enhance the models overall, the difference between the two variants is also highlighted more clearly. Riders can therefore look forward to clearer differentiation and an even more precise match to their individual needs.
